The main Difference between Canadian Mortgage and US Mortgage is the method of calculating the Interest rate. As per Canadian Law the Interest rate of Mortgage is calculating in “Semi-Annually Basis”. So the Monthly EMI for repay the loan amount will be lesser than the US mortgage rate.

$790.79 USD and total repayment will be 142342.85. For the same scenario I tried with Canadian Mortgage calculator Monthly EMI is $788.00 CAD and the Total cost for Loan repayment is $141839.93 CAD.
